  • Parks & Recreation Board:  The Parks & Recreation Board is a dedicated group of residents and business owners working to establish a vision for future parks and recreation opportunities in Northfield Township, and developing projects that provide a tangible benefit to our community.  Two of the most recent and most noticeable projects resulting from the hard work of the Parks & Recreation Board are the Bark Park and the Community Garden.  The Parks & Rec Board has also been given the task of planning for future park amenities at the North Village.  Upcoming projects will be in accordance with the Parks & Recreation Master Plan, established in 2016.

Members of the Parks & Recreation Board  are members of the community.  Members are appointed by the Board of Trustees by recommendation from the Parks & Recreation Board, and each member serves a three year term.  The most recent opening is to fill a vacancy with a term ending 7/1/19.  The Parks & Recreation Board meets on the third Thursday of each month at 7:00pm.
